If you have not seen a property bubble burst it's only because you are too young or you were not involved
To go down 70% will not be anything new it has happened before
But remember the scarce, quality properties may at the same time go down 5%
IMHO the only way the whole market can burst and go down a huge amount will be accompanied by a total failure of the government --- IE Canberra will be empty
