    You must have money to burn by just letting the options lapse.
    Maybe stay away from oppies until you know more about how they work. Even if you converted by paying 18c. You still could have made a dollar or 2 by selling the heads (as they are higher than 18c) thereby reducing your losses. 780,000 times say 5c margin is $39k you have just thrown away.
