'Hopeless' really? Based on a decision by Santos they have zero control over! Read the last line of the announcement....they'll make an announcement in due course which is what I want....not a shoot from the hip reactionary response. They are not under the pump to re-visit the target & are working behind the scenes as to what constitutes the best way forward regarding farm-out scenarios. Sick to death of hearing about whingers here about an over remunerated board. You get what you pay for. They all have history of value add...some by ridiculous multiples. Bloody lucky a company this size has the calibre of people on the board & the executive. many could get shit loads more elsewhere. They arguably have the best credentialed O & G board for a company their size. They're doing what they said they will do and according to indicated timetables when things are within their control. Dukas wasn't. Some pundits are still blaming this board for past misdeed BS these people had no part of. Since they've come in they're guiding it to increased profitability, monetizing assets that were never valued appropriately by the market. Share price is in the crap house-for now. If you're not in a position to wait for what they have articulated the plan is &/or you disagree, then vote against their board renominations &/or go away. Why don't you nominate for board? Complainers constantly whinging about the share price but never, ever articulate an alternative viable strategy.
