Can somebody please check my logic:
The Nickel content in this project is approx 160,000 tonnes
Spot price of Nickel is approx $20/kg
Total value of Nickel = $20 × 1000 = $20,000/tonne x 160,000
Total Value = $3.2Bn
I am correct in this?
Not sure what the operating/Cap Ex costs would be for a project like this?? So I have no real appreciation of what this MC would be.
I got into NMT some time ago for the recycling opportunities, however, this spin off (if my figures above are correct) is a fantastic bonus.
