Our NBN was restored today after 2 months without fixed line phone or Internet.
It took less than an hour for 2 guys to run a new copper line from one pole to another pole to fix the issue.
Interestingly today was also the deadline set by the Ombudsman (TIO).
At least 9 visits by NBN and technicians over the last few weeks, and it was only today that any work was done to fix the problem.
The NBN management of this issue was some of the worse I have ever seen, (incompetence and waste).
