I think some of the speculation that NDO and KIK may want OEL onboard for Shallow SC54 is a little (lot) misguided -
All that OEL could bring to the table is some cash (raised through equity issue). NDO and KIK can raise their own cash via debt or equity funding if needed (however the proposed development solution is a leased system so minimal capital required from KIK and NDO).
It looks to me that the future for OEL is seismic and more seismic until they can attract a partner to provide substantial carry on one of their exploration blocks. If TAP still has the appetite for the area they would be a good bet (failing attracting a Shell/BP/Chevron etc.).
