remember the avalon CEO indicated there was going to be a JV together... he mentioned nothing of a sale... he loved the qualifications of the VML management... Guess they think it's a pretty nice long term royaly/profit share... VML wouldn't have anywhere near the cash (or need) to pay for it outright now... nor avalon the expertise to run it themselves...
this acquisition could also be a competitive thumb to the nose of avalon... we can't tell... but, i suspect not...
possibly tanzania up for sale with this acquisition now... wouldn't be such a bad thing... still a bloody stalemate over there...
