WRpar20, understand your frustrations...all I can suggest (and you must realise I aint no Doc, I aint no qualified Pharma guy, heck I only have an interest in science so I am not qualified)...is that if it was me, if I had OA and I was in pain and I was frustrated but I knew what was coming...I would try and get some of the topical agent...its been posted on here before...failing that...I would then try and get some Elmiron. Now you have to be careful here because there could be some side effects though its generally copious amounts you'd have to consume over years, but even with a small bio availability of 2 - 5%, you might get some relief and that could be better than those nasty alternatives....

Failing that there is turmeric which is said to help at least some patients? I know these aren't great longer term solutions...but I'm just saying. I'd also consult your Doc/Physio and get them to formulate some sort of light but appropriate exercises as you still need to feed those joints their nutrients and the best way to do this is to moderately exercise though counter intuitive that might sound at times when you are in pain. Again, seek the guidance of a medical professional.

This extract below, is not just from dodgy random low frequented website, its from the respected Arthritis Foundation of America 1:

If I could speed things up, you know we'd all be there with you.

Natural remedies is one thing and a great required preventative step, but when you are in pain and you have OA and it seems to be getting worse, the hope iPPS will assist most patients is to me at least, amazing.

    DYOR is best of course.
