did a few checks and they reissued options not so much extended date, both were issue with a small cost. or '$0.001 for each option for reapplying , which is what we trade at now? well not really trade as now one is buying, so if 'charge is required still not worth it.
previously found extension of expiry date (If aggreed) for employee options, not corporate or company traded

there is some provision for adjustment to ex-dates, but that is not clear to me either, as under particular circumstances, like a TO, Merger.
yet to find exact clause, but getting closer, maybe.
