The post-July GS drilling campaign has now shifted focus to exploring more of the ST. Gosling has been chosen as the platform of choice in order to conduct near-vertical core drilling into the ST formation to facilitate conducting DHEM surveys and hopefully identify some target plates. This initial/preliminary form of exploration into ST simply cannot be achieved as effectively from the GS DD as from Gosling. Sure, it's a longer drill length from Gosling, but the angle of attack (for these DHEM holes) is vastly superior. Once any target plates are identified, the specifically-targetted core drilling into those targets will be done from the GS DD, which presents a superior angle of attack for that stage of exploration.
In short, there are two stages: 1) Drill the DHEM holes down one axis; and 2) Test any resultant plates from another axis. It's not really that difficult. I'm quite surprised that you don't appear to understand this. For all of our various differences, I always believed that you had at least a decent grasp on the basics. I'm now questioning that.
