Thank you to all the informed commentary above on patents. I thought I would also connect some dots re the tech that Archer is building.

While the market will react to news of every patent locked in and run for the exits in between news, the solid work being done is about a molecular spin qubit that works from a practical standpoint . ... it works because it's using carbon nanospheres that can be manufactured a few different ways. .....it works because it's able to hold quantum spin states and transitions for long enough time frames at room temperatures which means it becomes more practicable to use with software that needs discrete value inputs to produce meaningful outputs.

I think it also helps to see that going molecular means we're talking sizes in the 5 to 50 nm range. This is much smaller than semiconductor scales. I believe it's even smaller than the quantum dots used in the other branch of quantum computing. So glad the Koreans who scrutinized the patent application recognize what all this means way better than I can.

Archer is a materials science company par excellence imo. Some of you who are long time holders know this began with graphene. Other plans can go in many directions with graphene. There's the bio medical applications that we know about. Not forgetting that graphene plays a major role in battery technology. So watch this space, i.e. Archer.
