not a bad idea to exit with some profit, for what it's worth here is why I didn't sell today despite in small profit position
this result isn't a surprise to the market today. the company in fact flagged those figures last month and the response from the market was very positive after they announcement late in July. their recent recruitment of new board members with top quality qualifications and industry experience is also another great prospect for the company. the insurance sector in general is expected to do well, look at QBE & SUN share price performance. covid is great for them due to no drama in the road or any other issues. when things go back to normal interest rate will go up which is also great for them as well
if you look at the trading session today, the share price did actually break through the recent highs on the weekly chart few hours after the trading session commenced. obviously there was some profit taking going on as the trading session progressed.
looking forward, I won't be surprised for this stock if it turns around and trades as high as $5.65 between now and ex div date which is next week.
