Hasn't this chip been out for a while BarrelSitter?
What Branded said the other day about the "Single use" IP agreement with Renesas, makes sense that it was only for one particular use case.
Being as it will have ongoing support and was the USA arm of Renesas, most likely Ford and any other automotive company that Renesas deals with (3rd largest suppliers in the World).
That would mean all the speculation of other Companies (Samsung, Apple, Google etc) going through Renesas and not having to show their hand, is incorrect.
Has anybody sought clarification from BRN, about whether this speculation has any merit?
