RCE has great promise and there is a genuine need for new anti-bacterial medications. I have been following RCE for two years and hope their products actually work. However there are several characteristics of the company that I do not agree with and worries me about their long term survival.
Although they claim they are well progressed in developing anti bacterial and anti viral agents, they have yet to publish a paper in a recognised medical or scientific journal.
They are speading their activities too widely. The anti bacterial market is huge, much bigger than the anti viral market, yet when covid arrives they run off and start investigating that area of medicine.
Their main claims to relevance are pre clinical studies from some unnamed laboratory, previously stated as in the USA but lately they do not even mention what country the laboratory is in. They usually do not mention the methodology of the study just the results.
The worst aspect concerning the unnamed laboratory, is that usually when a biotech does studies, they mention it in advance that the study is underway. That allows investors to wait for the results. RCE does not do this. They just announce the results. That means they could have 10 studies going, but they only mention the results of the positive studies.
RCE must improve its transparancy and governance if they are to be regarded a serious biotech company.
