It hasn't been validated. Its only my word at this stage. No other attendees have confirmed it on HC and I know for a fact there were two people that attended after seeing my original post here so if they see this they may be able to comment and confirm, but so far, nothing.
One of those attendees was sitting at the front with pen and paper and was writing notes. Perhaps he jotted it down.
For what it's worth, Adam said it twice. The first time was a correction, not word for word, but along the lines of "the first batch of chips are currently being produced- manufacturing is complete and they're now being tested".
Sorry, I can't give you any more than that at this stage. Offer still stands to catch up for a beer if you're interested!
