I hope you're wrong about sepsis. I cannot imagine any reason that start of trial should extend more than 2 or 3 months from now. Apparently everything is already approved to go and they chose facility that shouldn't be affected by covid patients requiring beds. Only issue now would be ibx style problems with finding willing participants. it's frustrating because even when this sepsis trial is done and data presented theory says we will still only know about safety and toxicity. Phase 1 will not tell us if it can actually treat sepsis. The longer this initial phase 1 takes the longer we wait for proof of efficacy in our main target.
