New release made clear this time they carefully separated out white-grey from red sands when compositing samples to see the assemblage of each sand type. New met sample from hole 587 is the same as last years met samples 'along strike' within the red-sand host (M02, 06, 07). There is marginal difference between red-sand met samples west moving east, not significant given statistically low number of samples.

The difference between red and white-grey sand assemblage is considerable, as the boundary between the two units is often sharp. This is indicative of transport more than gradual variations of insitu weathering alteration. If this was simply insitu alteration variation there would be more assemblage variation in the red sands. Instead there is minor variation between the red sands, minor variation between the white-grey sands, but a huge difference between the two.



I have followed results and the white-grey sands are consistently 1-2% THM, the only time grades lift is when thin white-grey sands sit over higher THM red sands. The company has more logging and assay detail than me, but what has been released shows the white-grey sand infilling topographic lows are low THM. Hole AC550 drilled into a depression with AVG DH 1.0% THM, holes AC537 and 539 assayed 2.2% and 1.3% DH AVG THM (these holes not shown in yesterday's release for some reason?). All imo only, time will tell...
