hdr- want my view sailorgirl? Sailorgirl- I like you, put you pimp this stock like there is absolutely NO tomorrow. Yes, HDR is a roaring success, and I took your tip in 1999 and bought them at 30 cents. Watching them go $2+ has been a pleasure.

BUT... not everybody on Hotcopper bought this stock at the same time as you/me/the rest of the group, so lets call a spade a spade shall we for those who have paid a far bit more for HDR and are relying on clear, untainted advice....???

Is it a $1b + Company in its current form, without revenue? No

Is it relying on capital from sale of assets and capital raising to survive? Yes

Are some of its fortunes tied to the politically 'stability' of Mauritania? Yes, and the events of the last week show you how elastic the share price can be regarding this

Does it have sound management? Yes, and management who have put their money where their mouths are. But, they themselves are being 'managed', and i'd say they've done all they can to get HDR to where it is today. Any more growth seems to be in the hands of the Woodside gods....

Can it survive as an independant oiler and bring these valuable discoveries on-line themselves? No. They are cash poor, asset rich. Do you know any banks in the world that'll lend you money without an income.

Should you at least canvass some possiblity of failure in the upcoming drilling program? Probably a prudent move

If the WPL/HDR Juggernaut find no oil or gas this time round, then the market ain't going to be as kind as you, and $1.40 may be where it settles. It's no coincidence that companies like WPL are setting the bar low when they buy shares @$1.10- they're being realistic, not cheap.

I don't like Goblin et al.. they are tools.

BUT, their are those who are not so well informed on the site that wouldn't mind constructive comments, rather than crap. The only reason I bought the stock was because when your Yacht was a little tin runabout, you gave good advice. Get back to basics.

    Thats it...
