im not so sure. climate change is the greatest challenge of our existence. the fact of the matter is, li-ion batteries dont compete with gas and coal. innovation is needed to ensure renewables are cost effective and this appears to be in solid state tech, which i believe is making some big leaps. i think its obvious we'll see huge investment in energy storage in the coming years which, imo, will bring forward solid state tech and uncover other solutions, none of which appear to contain graphite.
one market i think TLG is incrediblly well placed in is graphene. that stuff is seriously incredible and its uses are so diverse. whilst graphene can be synthesized without graphite, i sense it will be required for manufacturing at scale. id like to see TLG shift its focus slightly towards graphene although ill admit thats highly unlikely
