It means they've learnt that the drilling in the Northern Part of the Patterson ground will be deep so that means diamond drilling, but the drilling in the south is as expected so RC drilling is fine.

Lots of words about "anomalous" trace metal pathfinder elements in XRF results from wide-spaced aircore but no qualification about what the background is for these elements and what they are calling anomalous. Some petrographic work on basement/EOH drill samples and some reports of sulphides. The drilling is so wide-spaced that it would be an incredible fluke that they have intersected an orebody at this stage.

Sounds like very early days exploration to me and some more money being spent on airborne geophysics. This is basically the first decent look at the basement that SGQ have in their Patterson tenements. Very early days.

Without having and lab assay results or petrographic results yet, they are calling the fact that the rig was able to drill to the basement, get some wide spaced samples and no one got hurt counts as a "success".
