Michael Evans directly credited him with FARs success in swiping the Senegal leases from under the noses of Shell(among others)where he still had many contacts,and knew they wanted them.He travelled from the U.S to personally present the results from the newly aqcuired 3D seismic.His insight into the prospects and their potential was knowledgable and educational.I would daresay he had some input into FARs decision to ultimately go with Shell as the best chance of developing the project,given their previous interest.
