Covid over 958 deaths from 39,000 confirmed cases (2.45%) ... Take out all of Vic cases, and that is 138 out of 17,000. (0.77%).

Melbourne always has a very bad death statistics. throughout the years out of the 900 or so deaths by covid, 800 was from Melbourne.

also... same death statistics with influenza.

but we all know we eradicated influenza in 2020
