just my thoughts but if there was meant to be an announcment next week ,how could they be saw that it would be this close to his date of leaving .

surely if they had that infomation back then to predict an annoucement this close to his departure they should have advised us back then .

i am starting to believe that unless they have broken some rules that they don t have a deal for GJ to announce .

it would be to perfectly timed that a signing of an agreement would be possible.

and holding off knowing that it was in the bag just to announce it on GJ leaving party is just wrong .
