I agree with you @mechanic and @Charterrierist that LPD "is a much bigger deal than many realise" and "the cream will rise to the top eventually." Given that yes, our management maintain a tight ship, I've been playing around with some ideas over the last couple of weeks. With so many moving parts and so much necessary confidentiality, we won't know for certain without ASX announcements, but it's certainly interesting trying to understand some of what's going on behind the scenes. I'll post some thoughts back on our Quarterly Activities thread on who our potential Tier 1 customer may be, but here on this "Competition?" thread, will share something pertinent I read this morning.

Pan Asia Metals released a drilling update today, being in the midst of double shift drilling to accelerate the estimation of their Mineral Resource. On page 20:

In October 2020 PAM was invited by the Chief Executive Officer of the Phang NgaProvincial Administrative Organisation (PAO), a Phang Nga Provincial Governmentcoordinating body, to present PAM and the Reung Kiet Lithium Project. The meetingwas called to assist the Phang Nga Provincial Government with their considerationsfor the potential establishment of mining and industrial development areas. Alsopresent was the Chairman of the Phang Nga New Town Planning Committee, whoconveyed the Committee’s support for the Reung Kiet Lithium Project. The PAO statedthat it wants to ensure that the requirements of the Reung Kiet Lithium Project areincorporated into the Phang Nga New Town Planning Committee’s zoning plans toensure that the project can progress should exploration and feasibility results provepositive. See PAM’s ASX announcement dated 21st October, 2020, and titled ‘PositiveDiscussions regarding Reung Kiet Lithium Project with Phang Nga ProvincialGovernment’.

So @Pimpel, perhaps Joe's historical knowledge of Thailand as a mining jurisdiction is shifting? Given that the resource would support a shift away globally from the "dirty" mining of fossil fuels and towards renewable energy, it could help Thailand achieve emission reduction targets, as well as economically provide a local and therefore low carbon footprint feed into the multiple auto manufacturers and battery chain suppliers in the region.
