Doesn't matter if you follow their politics or not - it's basic Politics 101 in that for the next 5 weeks , ALL their sitting members and their opposing counterparts are going to be on the ' Political Hustings ' with all kinds and levels of ' Pork - Barrelling ' going on in the lead up to their Election Day of 20th September.

So it is a bit of an expected ' side show ' and one where we can only hope that the ' Bureaucrats ' working in the various government departments are still able to get on with doing their own jobs irrespective of what's going on around them.

But we know that this is not always the case . Particularly in areas of spending and or government funding etc.... This is why our own Capital becomes even more important until matters of Political and legislature settle in.

Now we just talked about yesterday about Ministerial sitting times of BOTH the Canadian House of Commons as well as their Senate which were to resume on the 20th and 21st of September respectfully. So those dates now in themselves may push out other matters of business until the NEW Government is sworn in and it's NEW Cabinet and its members and portfolio Ministers are selected.

So this is out of left field and is now a predominant factor for Businesses of ALL types operating in Canada.

It is important to note that I am in now way proposing that this is a negative for Sayona , but am more thinking it as a positive for shareholders in so far as the BOD's ultimate thoughts and or rethink on the SPP if per say they were thinking of closing it oversubscribed with scale-backs.

I guess we'll know soon enough as to what their response is to this snap election.
