Headcount currently 1000 for circa $100 million in employee costs
Interchange fees in USA are much higher than ANZ and are currently around 2 %.
Quadpay have gained merchants in the USA by slashing merchant fees and taking credit risk and financing costs ergo they lose money on every single transaction particularly Quadpay pay anywhere as they don't get any merchant fees .
The 7% transaction margin is a fallicy as it generated almost exclusively from this $4 per sale " convenience fee" which is a very short term policy and that's why they are voted worst BNPL in the USA.
You can fool some of the people some off the time but it soon catches up with you.
The entire business model is unsustainable and In my view is largely smoke and mirrors
