From memory LD owns about 9-10% of the stock or thereabouts, so at today’s prices say approx. $360m-$400m. In 2021-22, Zip might do say $750m in revenue, so if the stock wasn’t ruined by shorts and valued at 20x revenue, which keep in mind is about half what APT got bought for, your market cap would be $15bln. Larry’s holdings would then be worth somewhere around $1.5bln.
Basically because the company finds themselves in a place where short sellers have ruined the stock, they’ve cost him maybe about $1bln in lost net worth, using some fairly broad figures here.
