I feel like this ongoing argument about the Magik Eye partnership is not actually that important or as Uiux put it, a waste of time.

What we do know:
-Brainchip and Magik Eye are both developing Raspberry Pi kits. This will allow any developer to trial both sets of hardware together and with relative ease of use.
-Brainchip and Magik Eye have been promoting each others solutions over the past 12 months to EAP's / customers. In Brainchip's case, this means a potential 2 dozen or more customers are aware of the value Magik Eye can bring. If any of these customers develop products with both of these items together, their competitors will probably have to try replicate these to some degree to ensure they also get a share of this (potentially new) market. This in turn probably means more sales. Keeping in mind that Brainchip's EAP's include Fortune 500 companies and NASA, IMO being included in their products will essentially be free publicity and marketing for Brainchip and Magik Eye. Whether it ends up in an ADAS solution, NASA rover or satellite, it doesn't matter. These are all high end products which will almost guarantee further market interest and hence sales.
I'd also add that anyone that wants to use the Magik Eye sensor will no doubt want to use the Akida processor to ensure ultra low power consumption. But it's not necessarily the other way around. Akida is so versatile it can work to improve any other sensor. So IMO the partnership with Magik Eye is more in Magik Eye's favour than ours, but it's still good regardless. Given that, I'd be surprised if Magik Eye wanted to terminate the agreement.

I feel like the value accrued over the last 12 months of this partnership is sufficient. Whether it continues or not, there will be continued benefits coming our our way one way or another.
