    Gold is meant to be an inflation hedge. What I don't understand about the POG is that ever since 2010 where it went up and peaked in 2012, the POG has stayed price bound within this 12 years. So POG has never really appreciated over time. If you purchased real estate 12 years ago, you may have already doubled your money. So is it really an inflation hedge?
