Yes but if i understand correctly the cytokine stuff isn’t actually an objective/ endpoint of the study. The endpoints according to clinical trial gov. are safety then change in WHO and NEWS scores. So if they know those final results - which they should- then that’s material and should surely be reported.
Cant see need for announcing TH to seek more advice as the conclusions for those endpoints should be clear cut. And simpler as you say not powered, no control arm to compare with.
