Does anyone know the relevance of the "Japanese reference price" (JFY) as quoted in the quarterly?
How does it relate to the gc NEWC (6000) price also quoted?
It says JFY was settled at US$109.9/t for the quarter but eh footnote refers to 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.
This compares against the July gc NEWC (6000) price of US$149.99.
The first mention of the JFY price was in the June market update, and they also referenced the same price of US$109.9/t as above. As far as i can see they have not otherwise mentioned this figure and have always quoted the gc NEWC (6000) price in the past.
