The homeless situation is interesting.
When I returned to Sydney after 10 years overseas, I noticed many people (often with mental illnesses) on the streets in our local suburb.
My theory was they congregated there because the regional Centrelink office is there.
But still, in the 80's, one did not see homeless, disabled and mentally ill people on the streets in your local shopping centre.
But in the 00's they are visibly there.
