The Taliban themselves invaded Afghanistan. Their creation was supported by Pakistan's ISI, their ranks have always included Pakistanis, they have always received arms and funding from Pakistan. Non-Pashtun Afghans, and indeed plenty of Pashtuns too, see the Taliban as foreigners. Their takeover in the 90s and again in 2021 was a foreign invasion of Afghanistan, by Pakistan's ISI and Saudi ideology.
