I hold heaps of BRN shares & it has been a wild ride. I got in early & have 12c average so not fussed at all. I have become immune to the ups & downs. Nothing goes up in a straight line.
Have another one that got to 78.5c SP recently & they decided to raise at 55c. SP tanked to 46.5c. Now recovering low 50c's. 20c average.
And another one that got to $1.60 recently & ten bagged then tanked to 85c. Now recovering mid $1.20's. 15c average.
And Zippy since $1. As high as $13.92 & retrace to $6.56. Another wild ride. The Zippy Coaster.
You get to pick the roller coaster ride you like on the ASX. The good ones go past the casino.
The wild ones are rewarding. Just need a few spare sets of undies & some spew bags. After a while you will get used to it & require nothing.
The small caps tend to get ahead of themselves & then retrace. The SP overshoots in both directions. As long as the fundamentals have not changed the retrace is a buying opportunity and/or a trading opportunity.
The key is getting in early & having a low average. Also getting in at the low not the peak. If you get in early & low enough there is minimal downside. Then just hold on for the ride like you would on a roller coaster.
