Everyone who owns LTR shares on 28/09 will be issued with 'free' MI6 shares. So if you want to be eligible, make sure you have bought LTR before 28/09.
IN ADDITION to MI6 shares being issued to LTR shareholders as above, there is a PRIORITY OFFER where you may buy additional MI6 shares if you wish to. In order to take advantage of the priority offer you need to hold LTR shares on 23/08/2021. The priority offer opens on 27/08 and closes on 22/09. This means if you wish to purchase additional MI6 shares in the IPO you need to make payment between these dates. Payment is not due on 23/08. 23/08 is the date of record for those who are eligible to participate in the IPO. Because of the T+2 day settlement period for shares purchases, effectively you must have held LTR prior to the after trade announcement on Thursday evening. It is too late for newcomers to buy LTR on Monday and still be able to participate in the priority offer. This is the LTR managements way of rewarding longterm shareholders. Newcomers will however still be issued with 'free' shares provided they buy before 28/09.
Nothing needs to be done this weekend!
