Antivaxxers are actively harming society because of their inability to think critically and their overconfidence in pseudoscience and their false understanding of statistics and immunology.
Easily persuaded by memes and Twitter videos because they don't know how to think differently. They can't see the misinterpretation of data even if it's pointed out to them.
They get off on being contrarian. Sticking it to the man. Not being a "sheep", despite them literally just bleating out nonsense that someone else has before.
The worst part is they have no insight. They don't know what they don't know.
Not a single one will read this, think "maybe I'll prove him wrong" and pick up a text book. Or read some peer reviewed articles. Or take a science 101 course.
Why is that?
Because the type of person interested in learning, in developing their critical thinking skills, in becoming a functioning member of society has largely already steps towards that by the time they're old enough to use the Internet.
And those people aren't antivaxxers by that point.
