we already have a local supplier that is interested in 20,000 tones of bitumen. thats before rate hike fees in shipping which someone mentioned here the other day. in livewiremarkets.com now they it say has has gone up some 270% for container shipping freights...
does this transfer over to the bitumen industry? i would presume so.
in MAY GRV stated in an announcement the shipping cost per ton was US $ 125-145. might be US $300 a ton now? more?
i am not expecting this rate to continue but would put a real sense of urgency from locals to get in with GRV.
lets get these bulk samples shipped out this quarter so we can get these oftakes signed up!
base figures $100 million a year whats refined bitumen and activated carbon going to be worth? $150 million a year revenue, IRR 50%, 75% more?
i am not sure how big the activated carbon market will be I have tried researching this area for Australia but cant come to a conclusion?
there is a recent report written but it costs $500, seems ridiculous to find out the activated carbon research/industry/market size for Australia.
