While I don’t disagree with most of this assessment, I do want to correct that management has been selling down. No one in management has been selling. I put in well over a million dollars of my own money into RAC and have not sold a single share. All of us (Phil, Mary and John) have all bought RAC shares with our own money and none of us have sold.
Former management like Bill have sold down, but given how much Bill still has tied up in RAC this may make a lot of sense. I am happy to carry a lot of risk as I am involved in the day to day running of RAC, but if I wasn't I am not sure I would want >90% of my wealth tied up in a single speculative company no matter how rosy its prospects.
