    it still does not say a limit order can be executed at a different price. your limit order was executed at a different price ? right ? or maybe i misunderstood your post. it is normal for stop/take profit orders or market orders to execute at different price if upper/lower bounds are not set, but a limit order must never execute beyond that unless the market is in adjust/preopen and your order overlaps with opposite side (even then, a buy order will never execute above the set price, it can only go lower, and vice versa for sell). somethings fishy.
