Yes ,
I had the same thoughts.
Somebody check my figures and correct me if I am wrong , but the effective return for someone accepting the offer is,
$ 3.95 minus 6.25c , plus the franking credits[ level of franking unknown , but they are bandying about 5c] on the 12c special dividend included in the $3.95 , plus a small amount of the 6.25c being franked.
So , that would be about $3.94 after the 6.25c?
I confess I bought a modest amount of these , on impulse last year , having mixed up the name with another company .
Says something about my abilities, that an accident may end up being my biggest return percentage wise this year.
cheers all
