Hot Copper is not supposed to be an echo chamber, if you dont like my opinion then debate the point, there is no excuse for personal attacks.

Ive never held opticomm, but have followed the Telco scene pretty closely.

One of the reasons i avoided them, is that when the deal for opticomm was going on, legislation changed to allow NBNCo to compete on price, which should have a long term negative effect on the value of Opticomm, but that risk wasnt priced in at all.

It looks all fine right now, but we will see how it plays out long term, UWL is trying to compete with a government granted monopoly, its not an even contest, but maybe it will work out.
