the average seems to be 201.2 shares , that is if
everyone did not particitate in the lasts spp and
did not buy up to $15,000 worth and everyone applied for the same amount.
OK.
lets say the last spp was in downmarkets and the average was $5,000 worth so most on average could now
only apply for $10,000 worth .
now we have an upmarket where most will buy as much
as they can . then again we have probably smaller lots
of $500 and $2000 worth .
lets say 450,000 shareholders
40% did not participate ( 60%? for anz)
25% had $500.......112,500...$56.25 million
15% had $2000......67500... $135 million
10% had $5000....45,000....$225 million
5% had $10,000..22,500....$225 million
5% had $15,000..22,500...337.5 million
so scale back maybe
25% $500 .....$56.25 million
everyone else 25% scaleback
15% get $1500...$101.25 million
10% get $3750..$168.75
5% get $7500...$168.75
5% get $11250...$253.125
Total $748.125 million
These are only my guesstimations , yep I know
the range was $500 to $15,000 and shareholders may exceed
or drop below 450,000 and yes I know that some may be ineligble , like those overseas or those that bought up
$15,000 last time .As I said these are my guesstimations
and I believe that if you applied for $15,000 you will get a lot more than 202 shares per application...
