Do you think the taliban would be up there in the mountains studying for a pilot licence in the hope that the yanks would abandon some aircraft. You don't just hop into the pilot's seat, take the hand brake off and hit the accelerator. You have to become familiar with the altimeter, the DME, the airspeed indicator and other instruments. Do you think that sending the russians and yanks home with their tails between their legs is reason enough to gain a pilot licence.
