This will pan out in either the following ways IMO:
1. Continue with demerger plans
2. Merge with Origin (there are rumours)
3. Take over offer from Telstra (there are rumours)
Number 1 is planned and its for the benefit of retaining value for all its shareholders as announced by company and it’s on record
there is a lot negative press around AGL and most of it is emotionally driven without an informed understanding
The BoD are committed to adapting to change, taking the business and its shareholders into consideration
The climate action community do not acknowledge that transitioning takes time to make informed decisions for the benefit of all
AGL continues to grow their customer base
AGL continues to expand its renewable energy generation as a % percentage of all energy generation
AGL continues with expanding and diversifying its revenue streams
AGL continues to innovate in EV, Hydrogen, and Battery technology
