The ann says the offer is valid for holdings at the record date - close of play today - Wednesday the 25th. Hence the increase in sp today. I have a similar example of this in another stock and the sp increased until the day of calculation, then it retraced a bit but nowhere near the issue price of the offer, then over a week or so, it bounced back greater than the increased number.
It's all about confidence in the stock and management . If thats a positive, then the sp should do well.
