Interesting pick up, but probably a little irrelevant now as the ASM demerger has already surpassed the 28 July 12 month anniversary date for any long term holders selling now. If memory serves me correctly the ruling also stated the cost base for ASM was around .16 cents or .163 c or something. Hopefully a more learned ASM scholars will soon correct me on that
On todays prices that makes entry around an 85 bagger today - yeehah.
Hey, I am happy to cop some capital gains tax, beats a capital loss....
Over on IPT someone started a "100 bagger" comp and I ignored it. Not interested in monopoly money, I spent my time in the real thing - ASM.
I will duck over there, resurrect that fantasy thread and point out the cutrent 85 bags to them. (Mind you I did buy again at the $4.84 issue a few months back. $4.84?? Open to correction again guys )
I have been a long term fan and supporter of management of ALK and ASM and that loyalty is now paying "dividends".

Where will this recent rise stop - got me??
