Hi Cato, if I recall correctly the Novartis deal was a "large deal" that came out of the blue, and was mentioned that Novartis had been doing due diligence checks for over 6 months without any public knowledge at all.

The CHF results were released 9 months ago, so I dont think in the context of how long Novartis took for a treatment targeting a pandemic, you could say the CHF results happened "a long time ago"
MSB previously said 2021 was the year of focus on partnerships, and they also said they wanted to partner with an industry leader in CHF treatment in the USA.

As I said, these results look superior to the ARDS results, with a lot more on the line. I would think negotiations would take longer, the procedures are more technical. Etc..

Those are just my thoughts and I could be wrong, but I highly doubt a large pharma has cheque book ready and deal drafted at the drop of every phase 3 result to be signed within days.... never seen that happen before...

Cato maybe you can find some examples of how long it normally takes for billion dollar deals to drop after phase 3 topline results ?
