I've got 25 years experience and Christos12 is correct in what he says. You people need to start accepting or comprehending that the Board and Executive Leadership have made a monumental mistake thru their own arrogance and ignorance. AGL's only chance of survival and I mean that quite literally, is to rapidly put in place a strategy of Battery Storage, alternate renewables and ideally distribution / transmission.
AGL's days as a Generator will be over within 5-6 years, their saving grace is that the Govt want to use Loy Yang as a transmission point for their (the Govt not AGL) planned and soon to be completed (again within 5-8 years) off-shore Wind and Tasmania's second cable
Regardless, AGL have literally destroyed their market share and will be lucky to maintain 10% post 2026.
