    G'day Lvcluan,

    Sorry if my post sounded like a question, it wasn't meant to. I'm sure there'd be lots of interest from Chinese steelmakers but my hope is that HIO is not courting them. I don't think they need to.

    The following quote is from a news article that ZF777 posted on the CAP thread. China targets Australia’s iron ore market and steel exports | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site

    “How will Australia respond if the United States decides that all trade with China that might enhance its war fighting capabilities, including trade between Australia and China, must stop?"

    It's a pretty sobering thought but one that needs to be considered I would think. It'd be great if Australia began thinking about manufacturing steel in large quantities again soon. It might have to. In that same article it mentions that China is also cutting it's steel exports to Australia by 50%.
