There is another thing the IM3 team is planning to hire 150 employees for 1.8Gwh plant.

they also said it will be full automated by middle 2022. are these two things conflicting?!

can them hire so many skilled workers within that short period of time in NY ?

hopefully they get the automated manufacture going with very low defect rate.

during Obama administration, there was government backed US based battery plant called A123 system, they had the technology and team, but their battery had very high defect rate. It went bankrupted in 2012 .

Also, according to their chair, IM3NY' battery is mainly for small grid storage. not for EV at the moment.
hopefully they can upgrade to that level.

IM3 have technology and the good COO etc. right time to do right thing.

for scale manufacturing, it doesn't like laboratory, make five cells, one of them is working well. Let's use the good one as an example.

Let's hope they can get through all these.
